When you use Skool Snap, we collect only what we need:
Images and documents you upload for note processing.
Text content extracted from your uploads.
Your account details (name, email, grade level).
Usage data — like how often you use the app and which features you use most.
Ratings and feedback you choose to submit.
We do NOT collect sensitive personal info like your ID number, address, or payment card details directly.
To generate AI summaries, quizzes, and flashcards from your notes.
To personalise your learning experience based on your goals.
To improve how our AI works over time (anonymised and aggregated only).
To send you app updates or important notifications (you can turn these off).
To respond to your support requests.
We will never sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers.
All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
Access to your data is strictly limited — only authorised systems can read it.
We regularly review and update our security practices.
✅ Your uploaded images and notes are processed securely and not shared with other users.
You have full control over your data:
Delete any note or uploaded file at any time from the app.
Request deletion of your entire account and all associated data.
Update your personal information from the Edit Profile screen.
Turn off notifications in your Profile settings.
To request full account deletion, email us and we'll process it within 7 business days.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the app — such as AI processing and cloud storage providers. These partners are carefully chosen and are required to handle your data securely and responsibly.
AI providers receive only the text content needed to generate your study materials.
No third party receives your personal account information without your permission.
Skool Snap is designed for students aged 13 and up. We take student privacy very seriously.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We do not display targeted advertising to students.
Schools or parents can contact us to request data removal for a student.
